Three new underpasses to be constructed in Lahore

Three new underpasses would be constructed in the new fiscal year in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the provincial capital, while the Lahore Ring road project would be initiated in July.
Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din Khan, Punjab Communication and Works Minister disclosed this while talking to Pakistan Muslim League workers here on Wednesday.
He further said the new underpasses would be constructed at Azadi Chowk, Dharmpura and Multan road.
"Redesigning of the Mall road would be under taken. In Rawalpindi and Faisalabad an underpass and a fly over, respectively, would also be constructed," he added.
According to him, the Punjab Chief Minister has approved various development projects, which would not only generate job opportunities but would also put the province on the road to progress and prosperity.
He ensured the workers that no project would be left incomplete due to non-availability of funds.
