US MIDDAY: corn drops on bearish export sales

Corn futures at the Chicago Board of Trade fell 10 to 13 cents per bushel early Thursday on a bearish weekly export sales tally and USDA world crop data, traders said.
Cargill Investor Services was the featured seller with 1,000 December, traders said. New-crop December corn was down 11-1/2 cents at $2.91 by 9:59 am CDT.
