Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 88,787 tonnes of cargo including 51,806 tonnes import and 36,981 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 54,182 tonnes dry and 34,605 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Corinthaikos, MT Shalamar, Tiger Ocean, Safmarine Pakistan, Pattaya Navee and Hyundai Stride sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan, Global Spirit, Gulf Dove, Pattaya Navee and Denler Premier are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Ever Gather and Warbah expected to sail on Friday, while four vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan, Oriental Bright, Gulf Dove and Anjum are expected to sail on Saturday.
Three ships namely Mir Emad, Orient Stride and South Glory due to arrive on Friday, while six vessels viz Shamrock Moon, Marivic, Stolt Orchid, Kota Teraju, Atlas Highway and Advance Pescadore are due to arrive on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 3,000 tonnes chemicals; 10,500 tonnes furnace oil; 731 tonnes cement; 13,203 tonnes coal and 25,738 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel Qia Juja sailed out to sea on Friday morning, while another ship MSC Jordan is expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of six vessels viz Tamyra, Kronos, Safmarine Pakistan, CMA CGM Vernet, Kisogawa and Indino Park are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Safmarine Pakistan, CMA CGM Vernet and Indino Park due to take berths on Friday.
MT Gulf Dove due to arrive on Friday.
