NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX)
SRO 479(I)/2004.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), section 30 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, and sub-section (8) of section 2 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944) read with rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. SRO 380(I)/2002, dated the 15th June, 2002, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, against S. No. 5 in column (1), in column (3),-
(a) in entry (ii), the words and comma "Central Excise," shall be omitted; and
(b) in entry (iii), for the comma, occurring after the word "Tax," the words and comma "and Central Excise," shall be inserted.
This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st July, 2004.
