Argentine export commitments of 2003/04 wheat totalled 5.185 million tonnes by June 11, up from 5.155 million tonnes the week before, the Agriculture Department said on Monday.
By the same date last year, Argentina had sold 4.745 million tonnes of the grain.
The government reported sales last week of just 30,000 tonnes of wheat to Brazil.
Argentine officials privately forecast 2003/04 wheat exports at 9 million tonnes, while the US Department of Agriculture foresees sales abroad of 8 million tonnes.
The government's figures refer to wheat seeded starting in May 2003 and harvested through to January 2004.
