New industrial policy of the province would be industrialist and workers-friendly while working-relationship between the industrialists and the workers would further be cemented under the policy.
Punjab Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said this, while talking to various delegations comprising office-bearers of labour organisations at his office.
The minister said the revolutionary steps were being taken for the real progress of industrial sector in the new industrial policy, adding the rights of the workers would be protected in the new industrial policy.
The Minister said the present government was fully aware of the problems of the workers and taking steps to resolve them.
A network of labour complexes and hospitals was being set-up for the workers and their family so that they could avail the health and educational facilities, he added.
