Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 124,502 tonnes of cargo including 109,496 tonnes import and 15,006 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 47,502 tonnes dry and 77,000 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Banga Lanka, Kota Wajar, Bunga Terasek, Al Maqwa and APL Portugal sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eight vessels viz Dong He, Kota Indah, Sinar Bontang, Colombo, Hyundai Sprinter, Orion Princess, MT Johar and Wrestler-1 are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Chem Lily, Dong He, Kota Indah, Wrestler-I, Colombo and Denler Premier expected to sail on Thursday, while MT Johar is expected to sail on Friday.
Four ships namely Safmarine Pakistan, Wan Hai-263, Avra and Marina-GR due to arrive on Thursday, while two vessels viz Global Spirit-1 and Corinthiakos are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 6,025 tonnes edible oil; 337 tonnes cement; 19,864 tonnes coal and 18,819 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel Fabian Schulte sailed out to sea on Thursday morning, while another ship Bahagia is expected to sail on the same day.
A total of two vessels viz Annoula and Lisa Topic are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely Lisa Topic and MSC Austria due to take berths on Thursday.
Six vessels viz Qem Star, Nur Yanbu, KIA Waleed, Safmarine Pakistan, MT Impros and Lauren due to arrive on Thursday.
