Pakistani dental surgeon honoured

Renowned Dental Surgeon and Orthodontist of Karachi, Dr Muhmood Shah has been elected Vice President (VP) of the prestigious Asia Pacific Dental Federation (APDF). The elections were held recently in Hong Kong at the APDF moot there.
Dr Mahmood Shah, who is also the outgoing President of Pakistan Dental Association (Karachi), is the first Pakistani dental surgeon elected to the prestigious post of Vice President of Asia Pacific Dental Federation, which is a conglomerate of 28 member countries. Dr Shah obtained a huge 75 percent votes from APDF member countries.
The Asia Pacific Dental Federation (APDF) consists of Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Mangolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Saudia Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
