Sui airport opens for chartered flights

Pakistan Petroleum Limited authorities have opened Sui airport for chartered flights following which the first chartered flight from Karachi landed at the airport on Monday, local administration in Sui said.
Regular PIA flights have, however, not yet been resumed due to non-working of control tower, it added.
The airport was closed on Sunday as some unknown terrorists had blown up its building with a powerful explosive device, causing demolition of the entire structure.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting, held in Sui, reviewed law and order situation in the town and decided to further improve the security measures. The meeting was attended by high officials of police, Levies and Frontier Corps.
