Grain exports from the French port of Rouen totalled 249,759 tonnes for June 1-16, comprising 219,975 tonnes of wheat and 29,784 tonnes of barley, port officials said on Tuesday.
That compared with grain exports of 830,000 tonnes in the whole of June last year, comprising 686,000 tonnes of wheat and 144,000 tonnes of barley.
Officials said one vessel was in port on Tuesday, loading 15,000 tonnes of wheat for West Africa.
Another vessel was expected by Sunday to load an additional 4,600 tonnes of wheat for an unspecified destination.
