The export of industrial goods from the city has been increased manifold, which earned foreign exchange in sufficient amount during the last four years.
This was stated by president of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Shaukat Hamid, while talking to APP here on Thursday. He urged the government to consider implementing the suggestions of the industrialists for improving infrastructure in the city.
He said in the current scenario, the formula of quality and competitive price has gained high importance, adding only those countries would succeed in this run, which would meet this combination.
Hamid appreciated that the local industry is playing a pivotal role for providing qualitative goods in local and international markets.
He further said that 'Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition' has played a positive role during the last four years and brought a good name for the country.
