Pakistan Postal services appreciated

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) that monitors the efficiency of postal exchanges among the 198 countries through continuos testing of International Service Quality standard has appreciated Pakistan Postal services.
The UPU monitored the mail exchanges between Pakistan and Afghanistan and Pakistan and Denmark to review working of the first quarter-2004.
The results were encouraging for Pakistan Post and were most cherished by UPU. The UPU-test letters posted from Pakistan and delivered by Afghanistan post took 10 days whereas Pakistan took 8 days in delivering letters posted from Afghanistan.
Similarly, UPU-test letters posted from Pakistan to Denmark took 7 days while the same posted from Denmark were delivered in Pakistan in just 6 days.
The survey showed that delivery/transmission system of Pakistan Post is faster, efficient and secure than most of the developed countries.
