Cocoa beans declared for export by shippers at Ivory Coast's main port of Abidjan since the start of the 2003/04 (October-September) season reached 744,762 tonnes by June 20, official data showed on Monday.
The figure was higher than the 741,485 tonnes declared for export during the same period last season.
The total of cocoa product exported since October 1, 2003 to June 20 this year reached 218,326 tonnes.
Figures for the port of San Pedro were not immediately available.
The data showed 7,955 tonnes were shipped between June 14-20, with Abidjan-based grinders exporting 6,377 tonnes in bean equivalent.
