The nomination of Shaukat Aziz as Pakistan Prime Minster will help normalise relations between India and Pakistan because the newly elected Prime Minister of India is also from the finance sector and both understand each other's economic issues.
This was hoped by Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) President Malik Asrar Ahmed Awan, according to a communication of the MCCI received here.
The chamber chief while congratulating him said that Shaukat Aziz was a very experienced person with high professional expertise. The MCCI President said that Shaukat's business and investment-friendly policies over the last five years had not only brought macroeconomic stability in the country but also pulled us out of the financial crises, and had put us on the road to prosperity and self-reliance.
The members of Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA) also welcomed the nomination of Shaukat Aziz as future Prime Minister of the country. They said that Aziz had been the key-figure behind Pakistan's tremendous economic achievement during the last few years.
