Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 118,468 tonnes of cargo including 98,070 tonnes import and 20,398 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 90,439 tonnes dry and 28,029 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Bunga Delima, Engiadina, Antreas, Dimitra, Pacific Sound and Al Maqwa sailed out to sea during the report period.
Nine vessels viz Bunga Delima, Engiadina, Oriental Bright, QC Teal, Hyundai Advance, Steeza M, Donica Green, Golden Hope and Ginga Lion are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Topaz, Hyundai Advance, MT Swat and Indradi expected to sail on Thursday, while four vessels viz Golden Hope, Safmarine Pakistan, QC Teal and Corinthaikos are expected to sail on Friday.
Two ships namely Kota Waruna and Safmarine Pakistan due to arrive on Thursday, while three vessels viz Global Prince, Wan Hai-265 and Gao He are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 2,556 tonnes chemicals; 4,731 tonnes edible oil; ; 7,600 tonnes molasses; 8,455 tonnes coal and 28,594 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz CV Fabian Schulte and MT Yanaseni are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
A total of two vessels viz Pacific Senator and Kronos are currently at the outer anchorage.
CV Pacific Senator due to take berth on Thursday.
Two ships namely MT Aldon and Ginga Lion due to arrive on Friday.
