Sindh Minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML), Imtiaz Shaikh has invited local and international observers to visit the constituency of Prime Minister-designate Shaukat Aziz in Mithi and monitor the bye-elections to be held on August 18.
He was addressing a press conference at his resident here on Sunday. Shaikh said that the elections will be transparent and open for the observers and media.
Responding to opposition's allegations for rigging in the bye-elections, he said that it was the most ridiculous assertion as ARD was unable to find a candidate for contesting in the area.
This is the safest seat of Arbab family and Shaukat Aziz will win the elections with a wide margin, he added.
Shaikh said that entire PML leadership in Sindh including him will run a comprehensive campaign for Shaukat Aziz who is scheduled to file his nomination papers for NA 229 Tharparkar-I on July 7.
To a question, he said that PML Sindh welcomes Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain who is arriving here on July 6.
He said that nominations for provincial leadership of Sindh PML will be announced in next one week and hinted that Chief Ministers will be made as Presidents in provincial set up.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that a complete support to Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim will be continued to accomplish his agenda for good governance, development, prosperity and improved law and order in the province.
He said that PML will lay a strong foundation for development and prosperity in Sindh.
