RTTS to be accorded status of college

Shahzad Ahmed Sadan, Senior Executive Vice President (HR) PTCL has said that Regional Telecom Training Schools (RTTS) of the company will be accorded the status of college to cater the ever-growing needs of imparting training to PTCL staff.
He was addressing as a chief guest in a ceremony jointly organised by PTCL and Huawei Technologies, for distribution of certificates among PTCL trainees.
It is worth mentioning here that Huawei Technologies, Chinese Telecom Company, provided training of Optical Fiber Junction, Switching and Access Network to PTCL engineers.
Dilated upon further he said that PTCL placed lots of emphasis on training and development in the deregulated era and that in the future it was necessary to equipped the PTCL staff with latest management skill to compete the challenges.
He emphasised that it was the duty of the officers who got training to further train their colleagues and use their management skills to facilitate the valued customers of the company.
Iqbal Waseem EVP (OPS) South said on the occasion that during the last couple of decades the Chinese products have achieved extra-ordinary image in the world market especially in South-East-Asia.
Pakistan is also a big market of Chinese products with special focus on the telecom sector. The neighbouring country has always helped us create a telecom market at par with the world standards.
He also praised the Huawei Technologies professionals who provided training of transmission, switching & access network to as many as 90 officers of PTCL and further hoped that Huawei Technologies would continue its help.
Wang Wei Jun, CEO Huawei Technologies said on the occasion that Pak-China friendship is time-tested and we are ready to provide assistance to our neighbouring country in all sectors.-PR
