City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has asked Japanese entrepreneurs to invest in Karachi development projects specially in mass transit project.
The visiting Japanese delegation, led by Free Time International Inn President Yuske Namba, met Naimatullah Khan on Tuesday, who briefed the delegation about the proposed development projects for Karachi, and asked them to invest in these schemes.
The City Nazim gave a detailed briefing on various proposed development schemes of the city, including mass transit project and coastal recreational facilities as best avenues for their investment.
In response, the Japanese delegation members agreed that there existed a plenty of opportunities in Karachi for foreign investment.
They observed that Karachi was an important and mega city of the world which envisaged bright prospects for foreign investors, and expressed their interest in investing in different development schemes of Karachi, and promised to carry out a survey to examine the prospects.
DCO Karachi Mir Hussain Ali was also present on the occasion.
