Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 65,399 tonnes of cargo including 50,395 tonnes import and 15,004 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 48,899 tonnes dry and 6,500 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Indamax Dalian, Global Prosperity, Le Li and Kapitan Emirsoy sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Wan Hai-262, Safmarine Pakistan and Vicory Prima are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Sinar Bontang, Wan Hai-262, Clippor Faith, Auralia and Vicory Prima expected to sail on Saturday, while two vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan and Ponl Mahe are expected to sail on Saturday.
Three ships namely Ponl Mahe, Kota Wangsa and Corinthaikos due to arrive on Saturday, while five vessels viz Isokaze, Sunniva, MT Swat, CEC Cowbridge and Kota Teguh are due to arrive on Sunday.
Three ships namely Koriana, Leopard and BBC Greece are due to arrive on Monday.

A total cargo volume of 17,170 tonnes only import cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 9,200 tonnes edible oil and 7,970 tonnes iron ore.
MV Iran Sadr is expected to sail on Saturday afternoon.
A total of five vessels viz MV Tian Zhu Feng, MSC Mexico, Clipper Sea, Annoula and Chemroad Mega are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Tian Zhu Feng, MSC Mexico and Clipper Sea are due to take berths on Saturday.
Four vessels viz Nord Stand, OOCL Authority, MSC Carmen and Safmarine Pakistan are due to arrive on Saturday.
