Income tax return forms in simple Urdu language are being provided for the convenience of taxpayers, said Habib Fakhar-ud-Din, member Central Board of Revenue (CBR).
In a meeting with the office bearers of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) in the Income Tax Complex here on Tuesday, he said that the form in Urdu would be easier to comprehend by the general public, and elicit confidence in the taxpayers to fill it accurately, giving correct and required information.
He assured that taxpayers filing returns with 0.75 percent income tax on their overall turnover of Rs 5,000,000 would be exempted from giving details of utility bills and educational expenses of their children.
