Premier Oil abandons well

Premier Oil Plc has abandoned a well in south-west Pakistan at the cost of around 1.5 million dollars, the British oil and gas firm said on Thursday.
Premier Oil said that the Chung-1 well did not find any hydrocarbons.
"The well has been plugged and abandoned. Premier's share of well cost is estimated to be approximately 1.5 million dollars," the company said in a statement.
Premier shares were down by 3.6 percent at 529 pence in Thursday morning trade.
