Unknown terrorists rained rockets at the base camp of Mirani Dam near Turbat in the small hours on Friday. There was no casualty but the mess of the camp was damaged.
According to details, unidentified persons fired around 18 rockets at the Mirani Dam base camp, about 20 km from Turbat, around 3 am on Friday. The guards on duty immediately shut the generator. Since it was night so there was none in the camp.
The rockets damaged the mess of the camp. But luckily there was no casualty. The rocket firing caused severe panic among the residents.
Mekran Scouts and district administration officials reached the site and started investigation. Security in the area was also tightened further.
It may be added here that the Mirani Dam is about eight km from this camp.
