A bomb exploded in Quetta leaving one boy injured and causing slight damage to surrounding houses and a car, an official said on Saturday.
"The bomb weighing around one pound was planted in a drain," Akbar Ali, head of the bomb disposal squad told AFP. The explosive device went off Friday night at 9:25 pm causing panic among the residents, he added.
Quetta has been hit by a string of bomb blasts and sectarian violence for the last two years.
