A 16-member delegation of the Senate, led by Chairman Mohammadmian Soomro, will visit China from July 24. This was stated by the Acting President, Mohammadmian Soomro, while talking to APP here on Saturday.
The invitation for the eight-day visit has been extended by Quing Ling, Chairman of the Chinese Peoples Consultative Council (CPCC), which is equivalent to the Senate of Pakistan.
It may be recalled that a CPCC delegation had visited Pakistan last year. The CPCC is very keen to strengthen relations between Pakistan and China and also to increase the parliamentary interaction between the two countries.
Soomro said that during the visit he would meet the top leadership of China. We will also visit there the projects of our interest", he further stated.
