9,141 complaints redressed: Wapda

Wapda Chairman's Complaint Cell, established here at the Wapda House, has redressed 9141 complaints of consumers during the fiscal year 2003-04.
According to a Wapda's spokesman here on Tuesday, Authority's Chairman Tairq Hamid personally met the complainants at his office and listened to their problems.
Similar offices have also been established at the offices of the chief executive officers of distribution companies, known as Central Customer Service Centres, while Regional Customer Service Centres have been opened at the circle level. Moreover, complaint centres also exist at sub-division level.
These centres also offer one-window operation to the existing and new power customers.
