A member of Lahore High Court Bar Association has approached the Chief Election Commissioner, praying to restrain the respondent, Shaukat Aziz, from contesting election of the National Assembly as a petition against him is pending before the Lahore High Court.
The petitioner contended that the respondent government has sought to get him elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan on the behest of America.
