Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar will announce Trade Policy for 2004-05 on Thursday on national television and ratio at 7.15 pm.
Earlier in the morning, the Cabinet will meet here to accord approval to the policy. On Friday, Humayun will address a post-Trade Policy press conference.
The Minister on Wednesday held a marathon session to brief various other ministers on the issue. Those who attended the session were Ministers for Health Nasir A Khan, Science and Technology Dr Attaur Rehman and Privatisation Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.
Humayun apprised them about the incentives being provided to their respective departments/ministries.
