Indian team due on July 24

A 12-member Indian team was expected to arrive here on Saturday, July 24, to condole the death of the wife of World Punjabi Congress (WPC) Chairman Fakhar Zaman.
According to a WPC's spokesman here on Friday, the team comprising scholars, writers, artistes and businessmen would also participate in a literary reference to be held in Alhamra Hall on Sunday, in the memory of late Shaista Habib. They would also attend the Waris Shah's mela in Sheikhupura and a seminar on Waris Shah to be arranged by WPC.
He said that the co-ordinators of WPC Indian Chapter, Deepak Manmohan and Pal Vizk would hold a meeting with Fakkar Zaman, to finalise the World Punjabi Conference to be held in Delhi in October and Peace Mela in Haryana also in October, and the 12th grand conference to be held in Lahore from April 12 to 16, 2005.
