Special emphasis would be given for the replacement of old network of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), to improve the quality of service.
Junaid I. Khan, President and CEO of PTCL, said this in a meeting with the Chairman and Directors of Lahore Stock Exchange Guarantee Limited here on Friday.
According to him, PTCL's management was committed to change the PTCL from a telecom service providing company to a telecom solution provider entity. Under the regulated environment in the telecom sector, customer's loyalty was a prime importance. No company, even PTCL, could survive without giving maximum satisfaction to their customers at competitive prices. They have realised it and have embarked on the path of corporatisation of their culture.
He said that PTCL has finalised the development plans to provide optic fiber network at the doorsteps of corporate entities like stock exchanges, banks, data operators, newspapers and other agencies of the same nature.
"It would enhance the quality of service required by the corporate users and in order to facilitate the corporate customers VPN service was already available with affordable tariff," he added.
