Sindh University teachers urged to work with missionary zeal

The Vice-Chancellor of Sindh University, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, has said that the academicians and teachers are most honourable and respectable segment of the society and urged the academicians and scholars to work with missionary zeal to shape the talented youth for their future role in development of the country and society.
He was speaking at a dinner hosted by the him for the retiring Professors of the various institutes and departments of the University.
He lauded the services of University teachers and said that with their full co-operation the University has achieved development in education, academic atmosphere and introduction of new academic programs in the varsity during the past three years.
He said that the teachers are the backbone of development of society, and added that only the syllabus is not enough but the stature and dedication is needed to improve the intellect of youth and their education.
He expressed hope that the retiring teachers would continue their support to their Alma Mater.
He urged the in-service teachers to acquire latest knowledge and transfer it to their students for their better future.
The Vice Chancellor advised the Deans of Faculties to come out with a graceful concept of academics by organising reference.
The Deans of Faculties Dr Kazi Khadim Hussain, Professor Asif Ali Kazi, Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Dr Anwar Ali Shah, Ahmed Ali Shaikh, Dr Saeed Ahmed Soomro Registrar highlighted the services of the retiring teachers in their institutes and departments.
