Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 89,723 tonnes of cargo including 65,244 tonnes import and 24,479 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 53,522 tonnes dry and 36,201 tonnes liquid cargo.
MV Dubulti sailed out to sea during the report period.
Two vessels viz Iran Satteri and Genmar Boss are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Oriental Bright, Ever Gather and Wan Hai-267 expected to sail on Saturday, while four vessels viz Chitral, Militos, Genmar Boss and Corinthiakos are expected to sail on Sunday.
Two ships namely Shan King and Marvic due to arrive on Saturday, while six vessels viz Koriana, Hanibal-II, MT Shalamar, Merkur Lake, Somdos and Almasi are due to arrive on Sunday.
Three vessels viz Shamrock Moon, Sun Shine and Westerems are due to arrive on Monday.

A total cargo volume of 24,673 tonnes only import cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 2,651 tonnes chemicals; 5,882 tonnes edible oil and 16,140 tonnes coal.
Chemicals carrier Qem Star is expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of four vessels viz Spar Leo, Lady Jasmine, MSC Socotra and Mass Merit are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely MSC Socotra and Lady Jasmine due to take berths on Saturday.
Three vessels viz MT Suzanne, Bunga Melawis Satu and Samjehn Amity due to arrive on Saturday, while four more ships namely Kriti Mountain, Marivia-V, Merkur Beach and MT Irni are due to arrive on Sunday.
