The outgoing Chief Military Observer of United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) Major General Pertti Punoti on Monday said there has been no violation since the two countries agreed to a cease-fire on the Line of Control (LoC) last year.
"There has been no violation (of cease-fire) since November 26 (2003)," he told reporters after a farewell reception at the foreign office here.
Pakistan had made the offer of a cease-fire on the LoC as part of the Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) which was also accepted by India.
