An open auction of attractive registration marks of 'LZA' series is being held here on Wednesday, July 28. The auction will take place at the office of Director Excise & Taxation Region-C Lahore.
According to official sources, the reserved price for LZA-1 will be Rs 10,000/-, for LZA- 7 or LZA-786 Rs 7,500/- while it will be Rs 5,000/- for remaining 133 attractive registration marks.
According to the new scheme and policy guidelines issued by the Punjab Government a year back, sealed bids are also invited for sale of three-digit numbers of any series in Lahore. The reserved price fixed for participation in sealed bid for three-digit mark is Rs 1,000.
The government is fetching substantial revenue through sale of attractive registration marks being conducted in a transparent and fair manner, the sources added.
