Crime graph up in Rawalpindi

The crime rate in Rawalpindi city surged during the past six months. During the period, 104 people were murdered while in 159 incidents of murder attempt, more than 300 people were injured.
According to a survey report, Rawalpindi police had failed to bring the crime under control.
More than 74 incidents of dacoities are an eye-opener for the authorities.
It was stated in the report that during the past six months, 159 cases of murder attempts were registered in different police stations of the city in which more than 300 people were injured. 112 cases of robbery were registered.
Out of 104 murder cases, police had booked 75 persons and 20 charge sheets of murder cases were completed. 20 murder cases are blind murder cases and the police had so far failed to get any clue to any of these murder cases.
