Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan will be visiting Kenya from July 29 to 30, to attend the third session of Kenya- Pakistan Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC).
Minister of State and Chairman Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Tariq Ikram, together with a trade delegation from Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and government officials from different ministries, will be accompanying the Minister.
The visit of a large Pakistan business delegation to Kenya would not only help in giving a boost to our bilateral trade relations but would also lead to greater understanding between the two governments and their entrepreneurs.
While in Nairobi, Humayun Akhtar is also expected to call on the President, the Vice-President and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Health and Home Affairs.
Besides, he will visit Green House (Flower Farm), trade centre and tea/coffee gardens to visualise the future opportunities.
During the JMC, the Kenya-Pakistan Joint Business Council is arranging a meeting for Pakistan delegation for renewing Joint business Council activities between the two countries.
The Minister would also meet with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Kenyan companies and leading entrepreneurs.
