Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday categorically stated that Pakistan's nuclear and missile programmes will never be rolled back, as it guarantees the country's integrity and security.
"We will never roll back the nuclear and missile programmes, as no patriotic Pakistani can even think about it," Shaukat Aziz told newsmen at a reception hosted at a local hotel at Wah.
Earlier, speaking at a big gathering here, Shaukat Aziz said that Pakistan would never compromise on its nuclear and missile programmes as they guarantee the integrity and security of the country.
Shaukat Aziz added that government will further augment the programme and equip the armed forces with latest equipment in order to meet any challenge or threat to the country.
"We want to make country's defence, and economy stronger and every effort will be made to achieve this objective," he remarked.
Shaukat Aziz reiterated that defence and the economy of the country will further be consolidated.
Shaukat Aziz also assured that he would play important role for the uplift of this backward district of Attock.
He urged the people to poll their vote in his favour on August 16 for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
He assured the people that after his election he would formulate such policies, which would help check unemployment, alleviate poverty and change the destiny of the people.
"I want to see people of Pakistan prosperous and improve their living standards," he remarked.
