Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 94,711 tonnes of cargo including 78,884 tonnes import and 15,827 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The cargo comprised of 43,467 tonnes dry and 51,244 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Safmarine Pakistan, MT Shalamar, Kota Indah, Hanibal-II and Merkur Lake sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Kota Teraju, Al Badiyan and APL Jaddah are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Marivic and Al Badiyan expected to sail on Wednesday, while three vessels viz Kota Wajar, Kota Teraju and APL Jaddah are expected to sail on Thursday.
Five ships namely Kota Wajar, Dong He, Colombo, Sinar Bontang and Sea Al Batross due to arrive on Wednesday, while four vessels viz MT Swat, Emblem, Nur Yanbu and Clipper are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 11,377 tonnes chemicals; 5,900 tonnes edible oil; 34,088 tonnes crude oil; 9,981 tonnes iron ore; 7,374 tonnes coal and 20,994 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Cobra, Orion Princess and Nedlloyd Colombo sailed out to sea during the report period, while two more ships namely Safmarine Pakistan and Suzanne are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
A total of five vessels viz Nur Yanbu, Shintoku, Adhidaya, Samjhon Amity and Mass Merit are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Nur Yanbu, Saudi Abha and Ledra due to take berths on Wednesday.
Four vessels viz Saudi Abha, Ledra, Maersk Arizona and Yanaseni due to arrive on Wednesday, while three more ships namely Shina, Al Ishas and Nedlloyd Colombo are due to arrive on Thursday.
