AIOU Admissions from August 2

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start admissions for the semester 'Autumn 2004' from August 2.
The students from across the country and Middle East will be eligible to apply for admissions in different courses of various duration, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
The admissions would be offered from matric to Ph.D. level programmes.
At the level of Ph.D., the admissions would be offered in Iqbal studies, Education with specialisation in Distance and Informal Education (DNFE), Educational Planning and Management, Teacher Education, Special Education Arabic, Islamic studies, Mass Communication and Physics.
While at M. Phil level, the admissions in chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Iqbal Studies, Mass Communication and Islamic Studies would be offered.
In this semester, the admission of M.Sc. in community health and nutrition, Economics, Pakistan studies would be offered.
In MA, the AIOU would offer admissions in Arabic, History, Islamic Studies and Urdu. The last date for submission of the admission forms is September 10, 2004.
