Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 78,189 tonnes of cargo including 50,807 tonnes import and 27,382 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 39,326 tonnes dry and 38,863 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Dong He, Clipper, Sun Shine, Bunga Mas Enam, Al Masi and Wan Hai-263 sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Orient Stride, Bunga Mas Enam, Wan Hai-263, Dania Green, Nur Yanbu and Siam Sathaporn are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely MT Swat, Siam Sathaporn and Dania Green expected to sail on Saturday, while two vessels viz Kota Mesra and Nur Yanbu are expected to sail on Sunday.
Three ships namely Noble Star, You King and Sanko Robust due to arrive on Saturday, while three vessels viz Egvekinot, Tamyra and Ocean Genius are due to arrive on Sunday.
Five vessels viz Yanaseni, MT Johar, Tai Yah-II, Iran Kordestan and Kota Wajaya are due to arrive on Monday.

A total cargo volume of 53,799 tonnes including 34,011 tonnes import and 19,788 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 1,488 tonnes chemicals; 15,178 tonnes edible oil; 7,760 tonnes iron ore; 6,467 tonnes seeds and 22,916 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five vessels viz Al Ihsa'a, Maersk Arizona, Adhidaya, Shina and Leo Spar sailed out to sea during the report period.
A total of five vessels viz MSC Jordan, Shintoku, Yanaseni, Samjhon Amity and Mass Merit are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely MSC Jordan, Shintoku, Qem Star and Mass Merit due to take berths on Saturday.
Three vessels viz MT Hope, Genmar Boss and Nedlloyd Colombo due to arrive on Saturday, while another ship Nord Strand is due to arrive on Sunday.
