ATHENS: Bulgarian international defender Ivan Ivanov has signed a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee with Panathinaikos, the Greek Super League team announced Tuesday.

Ivanov, 28, has won 40 caps for Bulgaria, scoring three goals. He has previously played for Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Basel, Partizan, Alania Vladikavkaz, CSKA Sofia and Pirin 1922.
