Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 69,762 tonnes of cargo including 48,389 tonnes import and 21,373 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 31,762 tonnes dry and 38,000 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Dong Kota Mesra, Nur Yanbu, Noble Star, Swan and MT Swat sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Ocean Genius, Shina and Koriana are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Ocean Genius and You King expected to sail on Monday, while four vessels viz Koriana, Emblem, Shina and Kota Teraju are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Seven ships namely MT Johar, Kota Wajar, Iran Kordestan, Victoria-I, Fu Kang Shan, Indotrans Flotes and Kota Teguh due to arrive on Monday, while five vessels viz Yanaseni, Min He, Corinthiakos, Eax Sanctity and Al Mirqab are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 267 tonnes chemicals; 2,637 tonnes edible oil; 9,099 tonnes furnace oil; 1,990 tonnes LPG; 10,620 tonnes iron ore; 6,959 tonnes seeds and 49,113 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz MSC Jordan, Shintoku and Qem Star sailed out to sea during the report period, while two more ships namely MT Gas Hope and Nord Strand are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
A total of four vessels viz Sinar Sabang, Yanaseni, Samjhon Amity and China Star are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Sinar Sabang, Yanaseni and China Star due to take berths on Monday.
Container vessel P&O Nedlloyd Colombo due to arrive on Monday.
