A meeting to review the flood situation and for devising of precautionary measures in case of emergency was held here at DCO Office Tank on Tuesday which was chaired by Syed Mohsin Shah DCO.
The participants of the meeting were given detailed information about the existing situation of flood in the district and the measures taken by various departments to cope with any emerging situation.
EDO agriculture briefed the meeting about the conditions and provision of bulldozers and EDO Health Dr Muzzafar Kundi told that his department was ready to deal with any emergency especially in case of any epidemic outbreak.
The meeting was also attended besides others by the concerned officers of municipal administration, public health and irrigation departments. DCO Syed Mohsin Shah insisted upon the existence of co-operation among various departments in case of any emergency and asked them to be vigilant in these conditions. He also asked the concerned officers of Tehsil municipal administration and health departments to visit the flood areas in order to keep themselves in touch with the prevailing situation.
