Pakistan Pharmacists Association (PPA) and its Punjab chapter have unanimously appointed Mozammal Saeed Chaudhry as chief election convenor for holding elections of PPA for centre Punjab.
The decision was taken in the executive committees' meetings of both the bodies, held recently and chaired by Ayaz Ali Khan President PPA Centre and Professor Dr Muhammad Jamshaid President PPA Punjab, says a press release issued here Thursday.
Mozammal Saeed Chaudhry is a senior pharmacist having vast experience and enjoys a good repute among the pharmacists' community who would shortly announce the election schedule of PPA for centre and Punjab.
The meetings also decided that those pharmacists, who had not yet registered themselves or got renewal of their membership with PPA, must get it by August 27 from their respective provincial branches. The fee is fixed as Rs 200 and Rs 250 for registration and renewal respectively.
