Punjab Livestock Department will start an education programme with a view to create awareness among the people about adopting latest technology to raise animals and poultry production.
The training would be imparted at 18 livestock experiment stations, five research institutes and four semen production units, Punjab Livestock Secretary Athar Tahir said this, while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony of veterinary doctors here on Friday.
Dr Zafar Jamil Gill, Director General, Research and Course Co-ordinator Dr Shabbir Ahmad, Research Officer, supervised the course. As many as 18 doctors attended the course on "Collection and dispatch of morbid material".
