OUP workshops for teachers

Oxford University Press is conducting workshops for teachers of 'The Educators' schools as a part of its on-going teacher training programme.
Four-day workshops on the "Mathematics series Countdown" and the English series "Oxford Modern English" will be held on August 7, 21 and 28, and September 4 at the Educators campuses located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and North Nazimabad.
The 'Countdown' is a series of nine books for pre-primary and Classes 1 to 8, written by P. N. Singh and A. K. Roy in accordance with the latest school syllabuses with emphasis on the clear presentation of key mathematical concepts.
The workshop on this series will be conducted by Nasreen Ara, who is teaching mathematics since the last twenty years and is presently associated with The Educators.
While, 'Oxford Modern English,' written by Nicholas Horsburgh, is a complete English course for primary and secondary schools, which provides a clearly structured progression from KG to class eight, while developing the student's reading, comprehension and writing skills at each level.
Batul Ali, who is associated with teaching and teacher training since the last twenty years, and is a life member of the SPELT, will conduct this workshop.-PR
