Gilani forms new party

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Gilani has formed a new political party, called Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani announced this at a press conference here on Saturday.
Syed Ali Gilani will be the chairman and Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai as the general secretary of the party. Other office-bearers of the party will e elected after registration of the party's membership is completed.
Syed Ali Gilani described formation of the new party as need of the hour, saying the new party will promote the cause of Kashmiris and reiterated that the liberation struggle will be taken to its logical conclusion, come what may.
