'Gwadar project opponents not loyal to country'

Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Senator Muhammad Sarwar Khan Kakar said on Monday that opponents of the Gwadar project were not loyal to the country.
Speaking at a news conference here, he said the Gwadar Port would bring economic and social revolution in the country and change the fate of the nation, he added.
He admired the government for inviting moderate nationalists of Balochistan for dialogue to solve the internal problems.
Kakar stressed that the government should form an autonomous body, which include politician to solve problems and added that the moderate nationalist entities of the province needed to capitalise on this offer.
Under President General Pervez Musharraf, country's economic growth increased manifold, he said.
Talking about Sandak, Gwadar and Kachi Canal, he said that after completion these projects would change the fate of the country, especially, of Balochistan.
Responding to a question about the American influence in Pakistan and opposition to Gwadar project, Kakar said that America had helped Pakistan in the development of Gwadar.
The initiation of the Gwadar Port project had reduced the sense of deprivation among the oppressed classes of the province, he concluded.
