Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 26,296 tonnes of cargo including 20,271 tonnes import and 6,025 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 22,235 tonnes dry and 4,061 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Suzanne, Med Keelung, Iran Shahryar and MT Johar sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Gao He, Sibi, Stolt Surf and Orient Stride are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Stolt Surf and Scan Atlantic expected to sail on Tuesday, while Gao He is expected to sail on Wednesday.
Three ships namely Sea Breeze Bulker, Engiadina and Zaid due to arrive on Tuesday, while seven vessels viz Nur Yanbu, Orient Tulip, Oriental Bright, Hyundai Future, World Star, Etly Danielson and CEC Pacific are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 6,099 tonnes edible oil; 3,469 tonnes furnace oil; 6,702 tonnes coke breaze and 26,979 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely Contship Tamarind and MSC Austria are expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Contship Tamarind is currently at the outer anchorage.
Four vessels viz Docomo, Safmarine Pakistan, Yong An-1 and Al Mounir are due to arrive on Tuesday.
