Anti-dumping duty: bed-linen exporters asked to fill in EC questionnaire

The European Commission (EC) has issued a questionnaire for interim partial review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on the imports of bed linen from Pakistan.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has advised the exporters to fill in the questionnaire for the purpose of review. The investigation period for the review will be April 1, 2003 to March 31 2004.
The deadline for submission of the filled-in questionnaire to the EU Commission is August 15, ie 15 days from the date of the EU notification.
The format of the questionnaire is available on the EPB website (www.epb.gov.pk). Hard copies are also available with the concerned textile associations.
The questionnaire, duly responded to, should be sent directly to the European Commission Directorate General of Trade, Directorate B, Office: J-79, 5/16, B-1049 Brussels, Fax (32-2) 295 65 05. The EPB advised the exporters to ensure timely submission of duly filled-in questionnaire, which will entitle them to be treated as co-operating units.
Non-cooperating units will be subjected to the highest rate of anti-dumping duty that may be determined by the European Commission.
Pakistani bed linen is subjected to 13.1 percent anti-dumping duty by the EU since March 2004.
