Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 62,922 tonnes of cargo including 47,822 tonnes import and 15,100 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 57,722 tonnes dry and 5,200 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Gao He, Stolt Surf and Scan Atlantic sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Engiadina, Tuo Hai, Medicebu and Andino Park are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Engiadina, Andino Park and Ioanthi expected to sail on Wednesday, while another ship Orient Stride is expected to sail on Thursday.
Six ships namely Nur Yanbu, Orient Tulip, Oriental Bright, Hyundai Future, World Star and Etly Danielson due to arrive on Wednesday, while six vessels viz Lauren, warbah, Tamyra, MT Swat, TMM Hidazgo and Colombo are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 13,746 tonnes edible oil; 52,894 tonnes furnace oil; 4,487 tonnes coke breaze and 21,624 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz Contship Tamarind and MSC Austria sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely Chemroad Echo and Kriti Mountain are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
A total of two vessels viz Docomo and Yongan-1 are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely Docomo and Yongan-1 due to take berths on Wednesday.
Two vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan and Anette Kisan are due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship Al Manakh is due to arrive on Thursday.
